Questions About Membership Access, Login and Devices

Once you enroll in a workshop, check your email for your access information. You will login to your account via the online portal here.

Be sure to check your spam and promotions folders in your email. If you don’t see it there, please email us at support@medschoolformoms.com.

This is often the result of entering an incorrect email address when you registered for the account. Please email us at support@medschoolformoms.com and we will assist you.

No need to download an app! Simply open your phone’s browser and log to enjoy the full membership experience.

For an even easier experience, bookmark the membership site on your phone.

Questions About Billing and Subscription

You can update your credit card information by following these steps:

  1. After logging in, click on the Customer Avatar in the top right corner of the page.
  2. Then, select Settings from the dropdown.
  3. Click Billing Info in the top right corner of the page.
  4. Click Update next to the currently listed credit card.
  5. Complete the prompt to enter the updated card information.

Then, click Update Card to apply and keep the changes

You may cancel your membership at any time but we do not offer refunds for the Doctor Mom Membership.

We are sad to see you go but understand!  If you’ve decided you would like to cancel your membership now, please follow these steps on your desktop or watch our video here outlining the process:

  • When logged into the membership portal, click on your Avatar from the page header at the top right

  • Select Settings from the dropdown

  • Click Billing

  • Select the Cancel button next to the Doctor Mom Membership product

  • Under Active Subscriptions, find the Doctor Mom Membership plan and click the three dots to the right 

  • Select Cancel this subscription

You will continue to have access until the end of your billing cycle.  If it’s more than 48 business hours until your subscription renews and you’d like to have us personally cancel your membership, please send an email to support@medschoolformoms.com and request that we cancel the membership for you.

If you are on a monthly or quarterly subscription, you can upgrade to quarterly or annual. Email us at support@medschoolformoms.com and a team member will assist you.

We have a search function in the left menu bar 🔍 . Type in what you are looking for and let your library do the rest!

 

If you don’t find what you are looking for, it is possible the content is yet to be created and added to the library. Over time, your library will continue building with more and more content. Get excited! Try the Facebook Group and use the search bar. You will find hundreds of archived posts there.

At the bottom bar of each video, there will be a CC inside a white box. Click on that and select English to turn on the closed captions.

Live Group Q&A calls are provided along with our private Facebook Group to support you mamas. Unfortunately at this time, there is no 1:1 support. If you are in need of a functional medicine provider, check out www.PEDANP.org for a Pediatric focused Naturopathic Doctor in your area!

Calls are scheduled for the first Monday with Dr. Desta and third Friday with Dr. Elana every month.

I wish I could say YES! What I can say is, we do our very best to answer every question in the time we have allotted for each call. Please try to attend the calls, as we will prioritize questions from moms who attend live.

Our program is created for those within the US; however, much of the information applies to childhood vaccinations in general. The infections we are trying to protect the kids against are the same worldwide. The BRANDS of vaccines and the SCHEDULE may slightly vary from location to location.

If you are in Canada, there are a couple of differences that are important to know: 

  1. The Canadian schedule differs slightly from US (but largely the same) 
  2. We do not discuss any Canadian vaccine requirements for schooling/childcare 
  3. Canada does not have monovalent (single antigen) vaccines as readily available, so it’s a bit more difficult to individualize the vaccine schedule to the same level as you can here in the US.
  4. Rates of illness are specific to US based rates. Though I don’t believe there is too much of a difference between the two countries. I can’t say for sure, as I’ve never fully evaluated rates in Canada.

The program is yours to keep indefinitely!

Your satisfaction with your purchase is important to us. Yes, but with caution. We have no influence over quality control, especially temperature control. For example, you do NOT want your fish oils sitting out in boxes in direct sunlight. This will change your healthy antioxidant rich oil to a rancid pro oxidative formula. This is harmful and therefore important to avoid.  Medicines like homeopathics are not as affected by climate change so those can safely be purchased via Amazon. But all fish oils, probiotics, herbal medicines should be purchased by trusted companies like Fullscript. 

We have also had patients purchase products from Amazon that are mislabeled and have been tampered with. We can’t be sure what’s in the product is truly coming from the manufacturer, therefore, it is not worth the risk when it comes to medicines.

The best way to learn about homeopathy is by joining the Doctor Mom Membership. While most natural medicines that are safe for kids can be safe for pregnant and nursing moms, there are a few you want to proceed with caution such as high dose Vitamin A and glutathione. Always check with your healthcare provider before beginning any new medicine.

Absolutely you can. We teach how to safely use natural medicines in the Doctor Mom Membership. It is essential that all Doctor Mom’s know how to choose medicines safely and feel confident in giving their children just enough but not too much of each medicine! We teach you how!

Every child is unique and therefore could have a different type of reaction to each medicine. As a Doctor Mom, we have to be very observant of our children with giving anything new to them. This includes new foods along with new medicines. If you feel your child is having a negative reaction, call your healthcare provider right away.

Any time you have any doubts, always contact your healthcare provider. You hired them to help so utilize them!
